"As an indian, this is probably the least furthest from Indian you're gonna get in Aix. The guy who runs it is super cheery and was very happy to see one of his fellow countrymen visit. He put out all the stops and gave me some freebies like bhajis and chips freshly cooked. I ordered the main plat which had rice curry and some sides all on a huge plate. The prices weren't dear and portions were huge. He even managed to make it spicy for me for which I was very happy about. Unfortauntely I made the mistake of ordering the standard naan which for the French had soft cheese inside. Not for me! But I stil ate it out of interest and it wasn't bad, just not my cuppa. If you're craving Indian food and in Aix, this is the place to go."

"Good food for reasonable price. We had the chicken tikka platter with rice, naan, and tandoori chicken. The staff were amazing and very welcoming. They made our meal memorable and even made the food spicier for us. Highly recommend!"

"This is no ordinary microwave kebab house you find in every city in Europe. We have tasted authentic Indo-Pakistani food all over the world: London to San Francisco and truck stops in India and this place matches up to some of the best tasting food you can imagine thanks in part to French quality meat and vegetables. Fresh, tasty, good ingredients, and good people running the place. They use home made ground spices which is the secret sauce but what makes places like Tikka House special are the owners. Each one has a story and theirs is true passion for making good, tasty home cooked food. Not fast food! No short cuts. Try the Chicken Curry and the Chicken Tikka Curry and you will see the difference: both are delicious and unique. The garlic naans are incredibly soft and crispy. We ate in once then ordered takeout another day. Both were fantastic. Aix is lucky to have such a place. Price to Quality ratio is off the charts! Go there! And talk to the owners about what you like and watch the magic happen."

"I’m from Malaysia and discovered this restaurant on Google while traveling around Europe for three weeks. By that point, I was seriously craving rice and chicken, so I searched for chicken biryani and found this place. As a graphic designer, I’ll admit I noticed the interior first, it’s not a fancy or stylish restaurant at a glance. But once the food arrived, I was completely blown away. The chicken biryani tasted like a home-cooked meal and truly hit the spot. The sauce that comes with it was amazing. I loved it so much that I came back the very next day to have it again. If you’re nearby, you HAVE to try this place!"

"The entire restaurant is a haven for Indian comfort food, with fantastic seating to boot. My eyes perked at the sight of a Tikka kebab, and it did not disappoint! Had to bring my folks back tonight, and the staff went out of their way to welcome them!"

"Tikka House is a wonderful Indian restaurant in Aix offering authentic Indian taste with fresh ingredients, good variety of dishes & excellent portions. The staff is very friendly & helpful with suggestions about the menu. We tried the Poulet Tikka Masala, Chilli Cheese Naan, Poulet Tikka, Poulet Malai Tikka Boti & Mango Lassi & we absolutely loved it. They have very good Assietes/Combinations which is a great meal for 1 person. The staff adapted the spice level to suit our Indian tastes & even showed willingness to customise the food as per our wishes. They even served us Indian Masala Chai on request with crisp Onion Pakoras which was just what we needed on a cold cloudy evening. Overall we had a wonderful dining experience and will definitely return here with my family. Highly recommended."
